Celebrate 50 years of art and community at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Cash Bash, a Mardi Gras–themed fundraising event on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 5:30–10:00 p.m. at the Bavarian Aid Society in Altoona. Guests will enjoy a lively, casual evening featuring Bourbon Street style jazz by the Deacons of Dixieland, a Cajun-inspired buffet catered by Mayfield at the Capitol Hotel, and nonstop excitement with cash prize drawings held approximately every 10 minutes, themed raffle baskets, and a 50/50. Tickets are $100 and include admission for two, dinner for two, drink tickets, and chances to win over $6,800 in prizes, culminating in a $2,000 grand prize announced at 9:30 p.m.; attendance is limited to 200 tickets and guests must be 21 or older to participate in drawings. Proceeds directly support SAMA’s exhibitions, educational programs, and community outreach across its museums in Altoona, Bedford, Johnstown, and Ligonier Valley, helping ensure continued access to the arts throughout the Southern Alleghenies.
