Wearable Art

Artist Katelyn Buchan will teach the step-by-step process of block printing and wearable art design.  Students will create their own custom stamp, printing their original designs onto tote bags. The five-day “Wearable Art” workshop will be held, Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31, from 9am to 12pm at Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Ligonier. This workshop is open to artists age 11 or older of all skill levels and cost $35 per student. Space is limited, registration is required at least 10 days in advance, and supplies will be provided. The workshop series was financed [in part] by a grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development.
