The Art of Soap Making

Join artist Monique Paule Ridet for a unique two-part workshop exploring the art of handcrafted soap design. In Session 1 (August 29, 1:00–4:00 pm), participants will create their soap using ready-to-use olive oil bases, selecting from a variety of molds, colors, and natural plant-based fragrances—no mixing of chemicals required. Your creations will set and be ready for finishing. In Session 2 (September 5, 1:00–4:00 pm), participants will unmold, refine, and enhance their soaps with delicate surface coloring using cosmetic powders and brushes, creating intricate, one-of-a-kind designs. This beginner-friendly workshop emphasizes creativity, technique, and the beauty of functional art. All supplies are provided. Must be 18 or older. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged by August 24th!
