Loretto SAQA Exhibition Celebration

Loretto is proud to announce the upcoming exhibition, Textiles Unleashed. This exhibition is a juried exhibition of fiber-based artwork by Pennsylvania regional members of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA). There will be a complimentary exhibition celebration at SAMA Loretto on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm. The reception will be free and open to the public. The exhibition will open on April 29th and close on July 9th, 2023 and is sponsored by Benzel’s Bretzel Bakery. The exhibition showcases a wide range of 2D and 3D quilt artworks, and highlights the diverse styles and techniques of an art form that prioritizes aesthetic value over utility. The jurist selected the show from over 100 entries submitted by current members of SAQA-PA (and those that have listed PA as their second region.)
