Loretto Art Camp

Loretto is pleased to announce its upcoming Art Camp from July 26, 2021 through July 30, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. This five-day art camp is recommended for ages 6-12. The cost for this camp is $100 per child, which includes all materials and snacks. Registration should be received no later than July 16, 2021. Let’s make art with nature! Using things around you, you will create beautiful works of art and fun craft projects with things like rocks, flowers, leaves, berries, and more! Instructor, Sarah Baumbach is the owner of Maker Studio. She will assist campers in completing five or more projects during camp. A showcase exhibition at the end of camp will highlight each camper's unique projects and friends and family are invited! Here is a list of projects:

· Seed Bombs: We’re kicking off camp by creating seed bombs! Recycled paper and seeds are combined to create a fun way to plant flowers.

· Rock Painting: Rock painting is a never ending activity! We’ll first paint rocks and then talk about how to hide and share them in the community.

· Smashed Flower and Greens Tote: We’re creating one-of-a-kind tote bags. Perfect for carrying summer essentials!

· Berry Painting: Who says you need paint for painting?! We’re smashing berries for this fun art project!

· Sun Art Paper Collages: A little art, a little magic… this art project is going to seem to appear out of thin air!
