Ligonier Artists of the 21st Century Celebration

Student artwork from Westmoreland and Fayette counties will be displayed at SAMA Ligonier from February 13, 2026, until April 19, 2026. This event is sponsored and made possible by generous donations from Benzel’s Bretzel Bakery and Bonnie Resinski. The Museum suggests a donation of $1 per person in support of the exhibition and other SAMA education programs.

Held in conjunction with National Youth Art Month, the exhibition is open to schools participating in SAMA’s Arts-in-Education or Artist-in-Residence program. Through this program, SAMA educators and professional artists visit public and parochial schools providing lessons designed to enhance students’ understanding of art creation, technique, history, and aesthetics. SAMA’s award-winning education initiative is the largest of its kind in the Commonwealth. SAMA received funding from Pennsylvania Creative Industries, powered by the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts.
