Ligonier Wet Sale

Artists are invited to spend three days painting scenery in Ligonier Valley.  Our Winter Plein Air Paint begins Thursday, February 20 and goes on until Saturday, February 22.  For these three days, artists will paint a variety of winter scenes from local state forests, picturesque overlooks, and iconic attractions. Following three days of painting, the Museum will hold an exhibition “Wet Sale” on Sunday, February 23rd from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with light refreshments being served. The “Wet Sale” and exhibit is open to the public free of charge and offers visitors the opportunity to make purchases of freshly painted works while chatting with the artists. If you are unable to make the reception, works will be hanging in the gallery for viewing and purchase through Friday, February 28th.
