Bedford Judd Collage Workshop

Entitled, “Collage Composition: Color, Texture & Magic”, the workshop will start with an overview on painting papers, creating our own collage fodder, and color mixing to create vibrant combinations. Then, the group will explore some of the papers and ephemera Jen has collected from around the world; from vintage dictionaries to unique children’s books, to French flea market finds. Bring your own special papers and personal materials if you would like to incorporate them into your personal piece. Using all these, we'll look at various composition styles to create unique, textural expressions on an 8" x 8" canvas. Jen will share tips and techniques for adhesives to get the best results as well as share some basics on composition and color mixing to ensure dynamic, fun, expressions for an amazing end result! Supplies will be included in the cost of registration.
