Skip Allen Lecture

Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art is offering a lecture and workshop “In the Footsteps of Donald M. Robinson,” led by the award-winning photographer Skip Allen. On Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Skip Allen will present a lecture on Donald M. Robinson, where he will discuss selections of Robinson’s work which have had a particular impact on his own career. Allen will also share his experiences behind the lens and some anecdotes about Robinson, before taking questions.

These events are part of the Donald M. Robinson Photography Biennial, which will run from July 25, 2025, to October 19, 2025. The Biennial celebrates the art of photography and encourages meaningful engagement within the photographic community. The exhibition and events are sponsored by the Donald & Sylvia Robinson Family Foundation.
