Altoona Artists in Our Midst Awards Celebration

Artists in Our Midst is a yearly exhibition of featured artists belonging to the local art organization, Art in Common. Artists in Our Midst opens September 22nd. This juried exhibition will showcase the incredible talent of twenty local artists and judged by this years awards juror, Ron Donoughe. Ron is a native of Loretto, PA and currently lives in Pittsburgh. He has been painting the Western Pennsylvania landscape for 30 years. As juror, he will determine the recipients of the first, second, and third place awards from among those artworks featured in the exhibition. Art in Common will announce award winners during the exhibition celebration on September 22nd from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Cost to attend is $10 per person. This event will feature snacks and refreshments available to those in attendance. Registration is encouraged for this event by September 18th.
