Celebration of Art

Join us on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM for a special Celebration of Art featuring two inspiring exhibitions honoring the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art's 50th Anniversary. Explore 50 Years of American Art: A Celebration of Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art's Permanent Collection. This is the final stop of our anniversary exhibition showcasing remarkable works from SAMA's collection of more than 7,500 artworks. Visitors have the opportunity to see iconic works of art by Andy Warhol, Norman Rockwell, Kurt Bonello, and other celebrated American artists while reflecting on SAMA's incredible journey from just 47 artworks in 1976 to one of the region's premier collections today.
