Artists applying for exhibitions at SAMA are welcome to submit here. Two-person or group proposals are also welcome. SAMA has no exhibition openings until 2026. SAMA continues to review new submissions biannually. Artists will be notified of receipt and/or acceptance in June or December of their submission year.

Selection process:

All entries are juried and selected through a blind selection process by our gallery committee, comprised of dedicated staff and artists from the community.

• CV

• Artist statement & biography

• Minimum 5 digital images of work

 

Solo Exhibits:

• Location: artist must be willing to exhibit at any of the five SAMA sites.

• Reception: artists will offer a lecture during a public evening reception on the exhibit opening date.

• Workshop: artists are highly encouraged to host an educational workshop and may email proposal upon exhibition acceptance.

• Artists must have enough work for a solo exhibition, unless applying for a two-person show. 

• Gallery space size will vary by location.

• Promotional support includes postcards, press releases, and web/social media.
