Site Coordinator at Ligonier Valley

SAMA is seeking a museum professional to support the daily operations of SAMA Ligonier and assist the Site Director. This full-time position is based in Ligonier, PA. Click here to download the full job description.

Responsibilities are to assist the Site Director with exhibitions, education programs, art classes and workshops, Children’s Art Adventurers program, social media, mailings, brochures, visitor services, gift shop operations, and administrative duties. Specifically assisting with exhibition installation and de-installation, maintaining galleries, and communicating with artists, teachers, visitors, and prospective buyers.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, creative, personable, and interested in art and community engagement. Some evening and weekend work is required based on exhibitions, programs, classes, receptions, and special events.
