About the Artist: Stacy Ghenditski, discovered her love for rocks and gems as a little girl. While living in the Vail Valley, she wandered into her first bead shop and found a treasure trove of beautiful gems and an outlet to express her creativity. She bought a few beads; got a few tips, and the next day she began beading. She got many compliments at the restaurant where she worked when she wore her artwork. She says, “The support and interest from my family, friends and customers helped me to have the confidence to pursue making jewelry. I mastered soldering, polishing, shaping, and hammering under the watchful eye of master jewelers at a studio I used to work at. Now I have a studio of my own and have participated in festivals in the past. I am always thankful to my husband, friends, and family for the overwhelming love and support they have given me over the years. I put jewelry aside for many years when my children were very young. I look forward to using my creativity and firing up my torch much more in the next few years. For more from Stacy, visit stacyjewelry.com.
