Trivet Propeller Oak

$25.00Price
  • A trivet is an object placed between a serving dish or bowl, and a dining table, usually to protect the table from heat damage. This design was intended to solve the problem of having one or more trivets cluttering every counter top. The intent was to allow the trivet to be disassembled and stored compactly in a drawer rather than on the counter. To make these appealing as an accessory, Reis used a number of different woods as well as a number of different shapes. The wood Trivets come in many shapes, and are composed of two 8" long wood segments that are to be perpendicular when in use, held together with magnets, and parallel when taken apart to be put away in a drawer. The most popular shape has consistently been the knife/spoon for use by the kings and queens of the kitchens.
