Mr. and Mrs. Sock and the True Spirit of Christmas

  • Mr. and Mrs. Sock and the True Spirit of Christmas was inspired by her granddaughters. It is the story of two snowmen socks who begin life as stretched out socks in a laundry basket. They come alive through the imagination of two little girls and join the family and the farm animals in the joy of Christmas Day. After seeing a bright star and wondering what it means, Mr. and Mrs. Sock learn the story of Jesus' birth and the real gifts of Christmas from the girls' older brother. For many years afterwards, Mr. and Mrs. Sock would come alive whenever the children visited their grandparents. Remembering the lessons from Jesus, they would bring laughter and love to their special friends. "Mr. and Mrs. Sock and the True Spirit of Christmas" is the second in the "Buddy and His Pals" series of books for children ages 3 through 8 that teach gentle lessons about kindness, friendship, caring and compassion. The 24-page book is filled with pastel illustrations by award-winning artist Cindy Inman of Manns Choice, PA. Ages 3-8, Softcover, 24 pages, 10” x 8”
