The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art is one museum – four locations. We proudly mount exhibitions that travel among our museums in Altoona, Johnstown, Ligonier Valley and Loretto, yet we also proudly mount other exhibitions that travel throughout our state and country. We are not only one of the most unique museums in the United States in configuration, the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art strives to fulfill the needs of individuals within the communities we serve. Lunches a l’Art, art classes for adults and children, preview receptions, bus trips, lectures, workshops, and in-school art education programs are only a few of the activities available at each of our museums.
