The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art is pleased to
make available preschool lessons designed to further higher order thinking
skills and aesthetic awareness in relation to young children. The elements
and principles of design are the beginning to giving any work of art visual
order and is the basis the Museum’s preschool program. Each month, at a
Museum preschool session, children examine one element or principle of
design in a lesson comparable to the ones released on this web site. The
lessons may be presented in any sequence and comments are accepted. |
